Kostas is the calm presence on the road; he makes sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone in our team hosts you the same way; warm, knowledgeable and flexible. He often guides big families and mixed-age groups, turning the tour into something fun, full of little Santorini stories. Two people, one island, an idea
Aphrodite and Kostas met in Santorini, fell in love with the island first and with each other, but that is another story; We both loved the same two things; the history of the island and the joy on people’s faces when they saw the caldera for the first time.
For years we watched visitors get rushed through the same route with no time to breathe. Many were cruise guests stressed about cable cars and crowds; most left without really understanding the island, its history, its local culture. We thought this could be nicer; We knew it could be different.
So we created our own locally guided private tours. At first it was just the two of us; little by little we built a tiny team of local guides. One group at a time; flexible timing; personalized; real conversations.
We started with one simple idea; visitors can see Santorini in a calm, friendly, private way, without being pushed through a standard bus route. Our guests like to feel looked after, to understand what they are seeing, and to take their photos at the best spots. So we built our tours around that.
